PERSONALIZED HEALTHCARE

Naturopathic medicine is an individualized and holistic approach to treating illness and optimizing health.

The focus of naturopathic medicine is to treat the root cause of health complaints by engaging and supporting the body’s ability to heal itself. It also focuses on prevention, resulting in long-term wellness, rather than management of disease symptoms.

Naturopaths are medically-trained, certified doctors in Ontario who provide patients with care that works in conjunction with, or alternative to the conventional pharmaceutical approach. The range of health conditions treatable by naturopathic medicine is similar to what is treated by a family physician, and can be both acute (i.e., cold) or chronic (i.e., diabetes).

Modalities used by naturopathic doctors include lifestyle modifications, nutritional counselling and supplementation, botanical medicine, acupuncture, and IV therapy. These are uniquely combined for each patient to create a treatment plan that meets their lifestyle demands, are sustainable, and reflect their individual health concerns.
